Two ridge tiles were blown off my roof in the storm two days before Christmas. Although I have Home Emergency Cover on my insurance policy they could find no-one to come out, even just to inspect the damage. I was worried about rainwater getting in so I put my problem onto Rated People.com and within hours Ralph had replied to me. He rang me and arranged for his workmen to visit on Christmas Eve. They arrived at the time agreed and made a temporary repair as by then all the builders’ merchants had closed for the Christmas Holidays. 

The Insurance Surveyor couldn’t visit until New Year’s Eve. Ralph gave me a quotation for the work necessary, including the temporary repair, and it was within a few pounds of the amount the Surveyor had stated. The job was completed soon afterwards and I’ve already asked Ralph to quote for another job I need done.
